The PA Chapter's "Punkin' Chunkin' 2" October 2020 Chat and B/S Thread
Welcome to Jumanji Level 10...what are we taking bets on this month?
We turn the corner into the last quarter of 2020 already - seems like just yesterday it was March and things went sideways and here we are. The weather is certainly changing at least in my neck of the woods, and with it the trees are starting just a touch. We'll see how crazy this month is in terms of people trying to wrap up construction projects and get culverts and vaults in the ground before it gets too close to the snow flying, especially with playing catch-up on that 4-6 weeks of no activity in March because of "that issue." Personally speaking, my attention turns to my winter projects for 2 of the 3 in my fleet, a decision if one gets to leave (the 2010) before or after winter, and focus ahead on what I hope is a jam packed 2021 show campaign. But all of that is of course, subject to change.
Anyhow, that's enough outta me. You know what to do, do it.
Good morning everyone. hoping for a good month. so far it started off good for me. someone hit two deer on my way to my son's day care. called it in cause they had to be put down, so free deer for me.
Not wet here, just chilly and overcast. Hoping it doesn't rain much over the weekend, want to get my back deck finished up and maybe a few other things.
Heavy couple days helping the sales team with estimates and what not. People are bidding stuff, that's for sure.
TGIF, Gang! Not wet here either. Got a campout with the little guy tonight, so the rain can stay away for the next 24 hours. After that, I don't care. Need to run up to the lake on Saturday to pull the boat to winter storage. Might run down to my parent's on Saturday night. I need to weld up some repairs on my buddy's trailer. We've got overlapping soccer matches on Sunday, so the wife & I will be in divide & conquer mode. Busy weekend for sure, but hopefully a productive one....
