Hello, I'm new to the 66-77 section, I have a 78'. Now also have a 77' with a 96 explorer 5.0 going in, its just a long block GT40P heads, I have read I can swap the EB oil pan, and timing cover and use a fuel pump, also read I need a flywheel 50oz and a harmonic balance 50oz will be using all EB accessories, 85 Mustang Dist. and a bracket for manual linkage (from wild horse?). This will have an intake and carb undecided at this point. What else is required for this swap and is the summit dampener the one I'll need or is there a Ford model I can order one from F150, 85 stang etc.?
Welcome to FTE. Overall awesome forum across the board, but the EB (early Bronco) forum is not as "active" as some out there. To get you possibly some quicker help check out Classic Bronco site.
Those guys on there LIVE AND BREATH early Bronco's and you can get a 50 to 100 experienced answers in 30 sec or less. Lol ok maybe a min or 2. The 5.0 Explorer swap is a common one. If I had done the swap and had the answers, you would to. Good luck, hope to see you over there.
