I recently purchased a '65 F100 Custom Cab, long wheelbase truck. It has the 352 FE with a column-shift T85/R11 3sp + OD.
There's a Warner control box, mounted under the column. My guess is that it's some accessory Warner Gear or BorgWarner made, but I've been unable to come up with a match in my searches.
Was this an accessory that replaced the OD shift cable & kickdown switch? Does anyone know more about this Warner control box? I figured I'd ask before disassembly/inspection.
Any help's appreciated.

First and Foremost; Welcome to FTE! Interesting, aint seen the box before perhaps an option? Possibly the 65 is different than the 64, on the column 3 speed w/ OD I have a bracket that mounts to the bottom of the dash with a cable runs to the OD unit on the trans? Perhaps more knowledgeable member can clarify?

box is trailer brake controller. Have one just like it floating around here somewhere.
here is pic of bracket for the OD cable.
there are also differences in the OD setup between 1965 and 1966. Mostly in kickdown firewall vs floor pedal assy.
It's not Ford, nor is it part of the O/D setup. My '65 F100 had the same T-85N trans with O/D...I owned the truck 1965 - 2009, so I know what goes where and what it does.
Sorry to hyjack this but since the t85 is brought up I have a question about it. Can it be swapped out with a 3.03 or is a different bell housing needed, what about drive shaft?
currently have 352 with 3.03 trans and want overdrive

FE bell housing is the same: 1965/76 F100/250 2WD // 1966 F100 4WD // 1967/76 F100/250 4WD & F350.
O/D uses a different drive shaft than 3.03 3 speed. NOS parts for the T-85N O/D are very hard to find, the O/D relay is non existent.
