Motor swap for 1999 expedition 5.4 Triton
I’m having the HARDEST time getting the exhaust manifold nuts off the studs! Is it possible to pull the motor WITHOUT removing the exhaust manifold from each side?

I’ve seen it done, but things were cut to get the engine out, but I know the manifolds had to be off my 98 expedition 4.6 in order to get everything to line up, then bolt the mounts in, then put the manifolds in. I know it sucks, but the gold old blue tipped wrench is your best friend for getting those manifold nuts off, most come out with the stud.
