Good evening,
I recently acquired a 1956 F100 express. The truck had been completely dismantled when I got it.
Is there any publication you can recommend that would have detailed pictures, I could use for reference when I`m putting it back together?
I`m also looking for a source for correct hardware sizes for the body and interior assembly.
Thank you

I'd request a Mid-Fifty catalog. The have detailed pictures . You can source it on line or have them send you a paper copy, also the are a great place to order from.
You must have a 56 truck shop manual. You can buy reprints from Mid Fifty and other places or buy used original ones cheaper on eBay. There is also a body catalog. Someone like Joe Harrier will be here with exact name and where how to download it.
And welcome to FTE the best Ford truck Forum on the World Wide Web!
Looks like alot of the hard work is done? Is everything in black done? That is a huge plus if the cab is completed! I got my truck as a basket case but it was still quite rusty, and not completely disassembled as your is. Also mine is a hodge podge between a 55 and 56.I bought a service manual and asked a lot of questions on this site- Bunch of GREAT guys on here and very helpful. One thing I would check before you get too far is the roof. I redid my floors and then found afterwards the roof was shot... -Roofs don't rust out, right?- Wrong!! Anyway it is a one year only roof. Keep us posted as you go along...
Thank you for the suggestions, I have requested the mentioned catalog and books. I`m looking forward to getting this thing back together.
Regards
Abrams
