Good job finding us on the 1st day Chris. LOL What's with the picture of the entryway of the Rogers house?
Stupid sump pump seems to have now mostly failed. We have a call into the builder. Our realtor says that should be covered by the house mechanicals warranty. We shall see.
Yesterday it had stuck off. Got it going again. Then it either randomly stuck off again or wouldn't shut off at all so at about midnight I finally just unplugged it. Now this morning it will stick with the float up but not run, I can rap on the float switch on top, it will cycle a few times then stop again.
Yep sounds like it's time for a new pump Jay. I usually have an extra one at the house as a back up. I have also tried to get in a habit of just replacing it every two years or so. Mine doesn't run as much as yours seems to but it runs quite a bit in the spring and a wet year like we had last year.

Cause any flooding?
hopefully they get it rectified quickly
Owner of the company (SW WOLD) called this morning to ask about it and said he would have the plumber stop by (he was in Elk River today) but so far nothing.
The pump has completely failed now. I am going to have to go to the store tonight if the guy doesn't come by today. I will bill them for it or they can leave one as a back up.
And to answer your question Jim. No flooding but it is seeping up through the cracks in the concrete. Getting wetter and wetter (or moister and moister).
