Q - how well do your Colorado trucks age ?
I;m looking for another white '01 supercab f150 and I've found a couple of them - one is out your way which brings me to that question , and knowing , some areas (?) get snow so I'd presume salt (?)
truck in question started out in VA and slowly relocated it's way across the US to now be in Colorado so it may still be ok
outer body appears mint with a dent but my rotted truck , already had terminal rust and still
looked mint from outside 4 years ago
I still have to set my self up with a broker/shipper for whatever truck I eventually go after but I might be looking for a volunteer to have a peek at this one for me
I kinda want the factory sunroof upgrade and white supercabs have proven hard to find with
one
here in toronto my options range from junk to trash to scrap..I've been truck shopping for 5 years with not much luck

and the truck in Colorado
my white "street scene" smooth cowl top really helps correct the proportions of the truck without the "black hole" at the bottom of the windshield
bonus my a/c has not smelt like cow poo for 7-8 years it's been on there...so if you need a solution , THIS IS IT
thanks for checkin' in !!

shadows on the driver's side of the box leave me wondering , maybe the box side is pushed in along with the dent at the wheel well top (?)
a mint southern box with no need of paint is 2K installed here
....one that needs a box side and paint ..eahhh..?- still better than fixing a rusty one
lol.. as much as I "hate" to share an add for something I might be interested in .. with those whom might have so much less trouble acquiring it ...
my truck has the same interior but I have the leather seats to toss at it in mine
it needs rockers and a rad cradle .. and a box .. and eventually everything that it doesn't need replaced now so replacement is a better way to go
- and , I am looking for a white sunroof supercab truck - same year match is a bonus as everything I have should also fit
ie- mine is the new parts truck
There’s DEFINITELY damage and rust on the bed, I would use that as a bargaining chip. And the truck is 2WD which is a huge drawback in a snow state.
They don’t need to know why you want the truck...DO NOT TELL THEM EITHER! If you drive it back you’re probably looking at $300-$500 for food, lodging, gas, plus potential days off of work and unforeseen issues etc. If you have it shipped probably $500-$700 but it absolutely problem free.
I looking for a broker here that can take care of the final inspection , sale and shipping hassles
looking at carfax on the add it says it passed it's emissions test in august but I'm wondering how the safety / fit vehicle inspections deal works there?
here we have a safety inspection requirement to register a vehicle as title transfers
or you get a title stamped "unfit" which an inspection & pass later can remove and allow plating the vehicle
no yearly inspections and emissions stopped being checked here last april
I know some places the e test and safety inspection are one and the same
-if the truck has a pass for both I'd figure it shouldn't be in to bad of a condition , though I'd still need the Ontario inspection to get my plates on it
lol
it's not rusty until the body and frame go in different directions on bumps ..

Call the shop ask where they did emissions, then call that shop ask them about how they do everything. Then call your local emissions and ask them about what you’ve learned...lots of leg work but...
