I am helping my brother restore his 1971 F100. It had a rear step bumper that said Mullins Ford Muscle Shoals AL on the bumper. It was stamped in the metal, not a decal. He gave the bumper to a friend at a body shop to have it repaired and then repainted. They moved their location and have lost the bumper. I was wondering if anyone might have one or know of any yards that might have something like this. I can try and find a picture if that will help. Otherwise looking for a similar style and vintage step bumper for it.
Thanks for any help.
Good luck. No idea, but some here might.
For me I'd need to see a pic since I've never heard of them before. Could just be a re-badged Fey or something, but the stamping does make it more unusual.

This is an aftermarket step bumper. Usually for a small fee, the makers of these bumpers would stamp the dealers name on it that sold them.
This gave the dealers a "permanent rolling advertisement" for as long as the trucks were extant. In some cases, the trucks survived longer than the dealers that sold them did!
Ford did not offer a step bumper until 1967, so before 1967 dealers bought aftermarket step bumpers and even after Ford introduced their own, they continued to sell aftermarkets.
In CA, the Fey Bumper Co. was the largest supplier of these bumpers and there were at least 8 different types including for Flaresides. Ford never offered a Flareside step bumper.
However, I've never seen a Fey step bumper with a dealers name stamped on it (I've seen 100's of trucks w/Fey bumpers), so some aftermarket bumper companies offered this feature, some did not.
