Air Intake 1981 F250
I am currently working on restoring my truck fully and ran into some problems. It seems like there is a three-piece air intake originally. The air filter housing, some kind of flexible tube, and a plastic mouth that bolts into the front of the truck. That funnel/mouth bolts to a plate that is attached to the fender. My problem is that the plate is rusted through and I can not figure out in which way I have to weld it back together. If that as an original air intake could send me a picture that would be much appreciated. I have a 351M engine.
Usually, the air cleaner snorkel has a flexible hose which connects to plastic "funnel" which is attached to the radiator support.
