My 1960 Ford F-100 originally came with painted grey sun visor arms. The truck is a base line truck with no options. I have noticed many of the reproduction companies carry both plain (to be painted) and chrome arms for the 1956-1960 model. Are chrome sun visor arms indeed correct (an option) for the 1960 F-100 truck?
hey,i have a 58' custom cab big window, and mine came with the painted arms.i think the chrome arms are an option.some of these truck's had a lot of chrome on them.i sand blasted and repainted mine, but i am not to much in to chrome.well have fun and happy trucking/scott.
Not positive about 1960, but I don't think the chrome visor arms were an option on the '57-60's. I believe they were only made available as re-production items became available.
Both of my '59's were custom cabs, and each had the painted ones.
The 1959 Ford parts and accessories catalog lists them as "Arm and Bracket Assy. - Less Visor"
"Part # B6C 8104144-AP"
All visor arms say "Paint to match"
