B&M C-4 Shifter cutting
'Am in process of installing B&M shifter on my 51f1's C-4. How-To Sheet says to cut C-4 shifter lever off transmission, replace with B&M lever. Only problem is Ford used realllly hard metal on this part, and hacksaw nor Sawsall will even scratch this lever. I don't have a torch. May rent an angle grinder with metal cutting disc. Any suggestions? Can this lever be pressed off theC-4, and worked on in a vise? Thank you. Am currently rideless, and need your advice.
