Lowering help for 78 f100
Hey everyone,
Need some help on how to lower my 78 f100. I currently want to drop it to have a level stance and I know the rear has to be dropped 2inchs more than the front. I was thinking of doing a 3/5 or 4/6 drop, just something to give it a level stance ( unless yall have better ideas) However, the sets that I'm seeing offers like DJM or Crown offer just a 3/4 drop or 2/2 drop. Besides doing a crown vic swap, does anyone have any suggestions on how I could accomplish this? or know if any great parts I could buy?
Current set up:
2wd
stock tires and rims
302 engine

If not lowering beams than the only option I know of is to swap out the front end with a crown vic, mustang II, Jaguar, or something like that.
It seems like beams are the easiest to install, but are expensive, and will get you about 3 inches.
Things like the crown vic swap can be cheaper, but you need fabrication skills and it will be more involved.
There are a bunch of threads on crown vic swaps. Insuggest reading through some of those to see what is involved before you decide.
