76 F150 w/460 dual tanks
Just started this project and need to survey the tanks. Plan is to keep the best one and bypass the other. I'm assuming that I can just bypass the "tank selector" valve thingy and just tie straight into the main line headed to the carb; correct?? Cant be that hard.
Also; should I install a electric fuel pump or just use the mechanical one??
Yes, you most likely can bypass the duel tank system...and the mechanical pump is more than enough for most anything you would want to do with than engine.
