2019Tennessee Chapter GTG
Anyone interested in one or more Chapter get to gathers this summer? With the state being so long from Memphis to Bristol perhaps we should consider GTG's by region...east, central and west.
Chime in if you have any ideas of when and where we could try doing this.

I doubt that there's more than 3 or 4 in WTN remotely active. Full disclosure: I'm within an eyelash of moving to the Gatlinburg area if retirement works out in the next few months. So I am more inclined to meet up with the ETN group if it comes to that. Most of us in WTN would love a reason to get out of here anyway!

Nothin's like it used to be, I will say the van clubs are keeping alive as there several truckin's throughout the year, I'm unable to travel far but theres one in Cherokee NC every October, has a good turnout.

I'm over here in Mid TN, but with the little one, I can't really do much traveling, so if there was any GTG, it would have to be more closer to this area for me.

What about Cookeville, TN. about 85 miles from Nashville/Brentwood, 97 miles from Chattanooga and 100 miles from Knoxville? That's rough 1 1/2 hr drive from each area.

Tellico Plains here, we have all kinds of stuff going on here in the summer, big outdoor flea market, the Skyway, and other outdoor stuff to do and see. No sitting around in some stuffy eating joint!! All welcome to come to Tellico. I just like standing around talking trucks myself.

I don’t spend any time in this forum but I do spend a fair amount of time in the diesel forums. I am down with a GTG. I second Maryville. Much quieter and still very close to the mountains
