This chapter has been without a leader for about 5 years, and with that the activity here has really dropped off. So who is still out there and what have/are you up to these days?
For myself, I sold Edith (my 1950 F5) a couple of years ago and started on Dollie (51 F1) a few years ago, but health issues put that project on hold. Most of my health issues are resolved and I look forward to getting back to work on Dollie.
Good to hear from you Glenn, what happened to your F100?
I sold it about 5 years ago. Had 2 kids in college. I was driving it until I started changing a few things. Then a few more "while I'm at its" it wasn't driving. I'm planning on moving north of Gatlinburg later this year, so if I see a good deal at a show, I might be an owner again.
I have not been as active at the mall cruise in, I need to get back to going this spring, I am still driving my 73 E100, the interior has gone through several changes over the years, about to remove the cabinet to get the room back so I can get my chair to the bed, can't hop off the front anymore, not given up on it yet.
Still in Clarksville; be off & on the web site. Continue to either attend as a participate or Swap vendor each year to Super Nationals & recently to the new & improve Grand Nationals. Will be there in May.
