Interesting F6 on c-list

Someone on my local craigslist is selling a somewhat interesting '50 F6. The truck itself isn't spectacular, other than it's amazing condition, but it has a cool war surplus bed and a really cool semaphore turn signal hanging off the side. They have a pic of the firewall tag with a high serial number from the Richmond plant. Check it out. https://kpr.craigslist.org/cto/d/195...683587500.html

Love the semaphore signal. I think that's a lighted one.

2x on the semaphores, neat. So they're cable-driven to the cab with a mechanical linkage?
Or would a motor be involved?

The European cars and trucks were solenoid actuated but much smaller. The domestic versions are much larger and use a pull cable connected to a lever in the cab overhead with two latching points, one for left turn (straight out), and one for right turn (about 11 o'clock). Some had electrical contacts so they would light up when raised.
