1954 Custom-Details and ?'s
Okay, Classic Guys will hate me and Hot Rodder's will despise me. But I'm doing this project hell or highwater because it will integrate my two most favorite past times. I have an '81 Ford F-150 4x4. My friend just relinqueshed his '54 to me. I have tried to get this truck from him for five years (since he bought it). I want to put a '56 grille on it, restore it properly, add some custom touches here and there and stick it on my '81 frame. I am excited about this project like no other. I think about details continuously and cannot wait to commence. However, I must wait at least a year before starting it. I would like to know the wheelbase of the '54. I do not physically have the truck in my yard, and can't simply go out and measure it. Tips, tricks, advice and yes, even criticism will be appreciated.
