On the other hand, wrap has come a long way. A well applied wrap looks as good or better than custom paint. I wonder how long it will be before OEMs are offering it as an option or as standard equipment on some vehicles.

I know the dino of which you speak, but won't say his name as it's bad luck, ha ha. But I've wondered about OEMs offering wraps for a while. It could be a great way to both opt for a non-traditional color, and preserve the paint for resale. A lease could be a great application, actually, as when the car gets turned in, the dealer could ditch the wild color for something standard underneath,, and it would be factory-fresh to boot!
