I folded my middle row down the other day to haul some stuff. Now, no matter what I do, I can't get them to unlock and fold back up. Any ideas at all?
Thanks,
Russ
Check the L bracket that links the release handle to the cable. Mine was bent and not pulling properly. I’ll add some photos later to show what I’m talking about

Lift up the seat bottom and follow the push/pull cable to the latch, see what's holding it. A friend's Excursion had this problem when he bought it...a little adjustment of the bracket and all worked well again.
Thanks - I look forward to the picture. I'll go look at that.
I got my seat features confused. The L brackets I referred to was for the slide feature.
Check both latch catches on right and left side to seat while pulling release handle, larger rectangle shaped on on seat base.

They are connected with this cable, trace it and lubricate all parts, straighten anything that seems out of alignment. Tighten cable if necessary.
steel cable kinda like on bicycle brakes
There are also springs used to return handles to original position, check to see that those are intact and operational.
Also try pushing seat back down, maybe the switch didn't engage in the full down position. Try pulling up for same reason. Don't forget to pull up on larger rectangle leaver on seat base.
I hope this is helpful
If your front seat is too far back it might be pushing against the seat that is flipped forward and the top of the folded down back seat, mine does that too. Move the front seats forward and push on the flipped forward seat to release pressure off of the seat back. Seems to work for me.

+1 on moving front seats up to release pressure on back seat springs.
