Not sure if my question should go here but, it does involve gas. I have a 351C not sure of mileage, but runs good. When I bought the truck I noticed the oil smelled like gas so I changed the oil. I don't drive truck much, weekends mostly. I have driven as far as 70 miles in one trip so it does go on some decent runs.
I noticed the truck lifters are ticking a bit when cold. I pulled dipstick and there's a faint smell of gas again? I dont have but 1000 miles since the last oil change.
Do you guys think It may be leaking from the fuel pump? Or could it be something else? The carb is a Edlebrock 4bbl.
