Cleaned out the garage before autumn and winter's cold weather sets in and ran across the box of original parts that were borne from my power steering conversion.
I'm posting to ask whether I should keep anything (for someone else) or just put everything in the dumpster. I don't have any use for the parts that I took out; the pump is bad and the hydraulic tube leaked. Assume most of it is too heavy to ship to another member in need(?).
Any advice (aside from "pitch it")?
Thanks,

What about turning them in to your preferred local auto parts store? Maybe some of them can use the pump as a core to send the rebuilders, but linkages and stuff are probably destined for the dumpster if they're not in near-new condition.
Good luck either way. Nice feeling to be clearing out some space.
I'm years (decades?) away from getting there from here...
One guy has asked for the steering gear, so we may have someone who needs parts. I'll toss the rest after checking with NAPA for cores. Thanks all.
