I'm having a good month. I cleared about half of the bank on my pond. It hasn't been cut since I moved away in 88. I will have it clear on the side I want done soon. I'll be able to fish on the bank again. I'm cured of HepC. That was one hell of a scare. I'm one of the Baby boomers that had it. Have a great week folks.

Good morning Louisiana, welcome to Thong Thursday! Got about 4 inches of snow up here yesterday. No where near what the east coast will get, though, and I'm good with that!

I had to do a fiber install job at a feed mill yesterday. Rat crap everywhere in the electrical room. I felt like I needed a tetanus shot when I left there. I don't know what kind of feed they are making but I don't want any of it.

Feed mills, chicken houses.& cattle feedlots are nasty places. I'm about ready to start my own chicken house & once I get the fences around my farm fixed I want a few cows to supply my beef & milk needs. No steroids in their feed. Raise them on grass & fatten the calf I butcher on corn grown locally. I grew up eating what we raised on this farm. The only water with fluoride that I drank growing up was at school. We had great water in our well.

Nothing better than grass fed beef. We get a side of beef from My BIL every year.
