Camshaft sensor code P0340
Camshaft sensor code P0340
Hey guys,
so a few weeks ago my truck threw a P0340 code. I replaced the camshaft sensor and everything was fine for a week or two. It just tried again. I checked all the wires and it looks as though everything was fine. It also the a code for missing on cylinder 10. Could that have any effect? And what should I look at?

I would take off the COP on cylinder 10 and then inspect that spark plug and see what it is like, if the plug looks ok, switch the COP from the next nearest cylinder and put the COP from cylinder 10 on that one and the one from the other cylinder on 10 and see if your misfire change to the other cylinder.
When was the last time you changed the spark plugs and what brand are they? You could have a bad plug or cop creating the misfire
