Transmission to transfer case spacer cracked all to fudge! 97 F-350 crew gas 351
I'm driving this morning out in the country, hit a bump and WHAM! wtf was that? Truck slowed down making all kinds of awful noises. The only thing I could see visually is that the spacer between the transmission and transfer case was cracked all the way through and my son said it was moving around, he's 11 but I probably wouldn't have seen it without his input. Has anyone had this happen? This really sucks because my truck is in BFE and I'm leaving the country tomorrow morning at 530. Hopefully my towing company/mechanic will come through for me with minimal communication. It being Sunday I had to leave the key and a not in their drop box, suuuuuuuuuuucks.
