hatto look for or watch out for lookign for an F150

I'm in the market for a new pickup because I've come to the realization that I don't NEED a 3/4 ton anymore and a half ton would be a better pickup on the dirt roads I spend most of my weekends on. So I am looking for a 2011-2014 F150 for many of the reasons you all already know about.

That being said, the truck I have now is at least doing the job so I do have all the time in the world to look for a good replacement.

My question is that do I need to watch out for when looking for an F150 in this time frame? Are they known for any problems that I need to watch out for? And if so, are there fixes common for any idiosyncrasies of this year window of trucks?

Also, what do i want to make sure I get in the truck? I haul trailers a lot but mostly light trailers. The heaviest would be a camp trailer (19-21 feet or so) but even that is unlikely. The heaviest trailer I have now is my aluminum jet boat which on the trailer weighs about 8K. But I do live in a mountainous area and drive up and down grades every day.

I would love to hear some thoughts or experience on this.
