Mercury Truck Info

I have purchased a collection of Mercury truck literature from 1946 to 1952. The 1952 Mercury Handbook is a wealth information.

Does any of that literature specifically relate to Ford of Canada and (in particular the '46 Merc) is a sliding rear cab window shown?

I will check my 46 brochure when I get home. I don't recall seeing a sliding rear window. Tien

A '36 Ford stake here in S. Ontario that was sold new in Melville SK has a sliding rear cab window. Also a pair of '46 Mercury half-tonnes (no Serial # identification so we don't know if they were assembled in Windsor or in Western Canada) have identical sliding cab windows

THAT's IT, thank you Tienmac.

It has been stated that Fords of the era assembled in Vancouver & Winnipeg offered that, but not ones assembled in Windsor, however I've never seen literature to support it
