guys im looking to be putting front and rear sway bars on my truck.
i have a 92 f150 with them, and was wondering if they had ever used the bottom of the shock to mount the front sway bar. i seen a picture of it and i cannot for the life of me find it.
can anyone tell me if they did this? or did the all use the under the spring mount. thanks
The parts catalog shows this for all 1980 through 1988 2WD F100's and F150's. And the following pic shows how the 1980 - 89 4wd's bolted on.
I'm not saying that the catalog is always right as I found another mistake yesterday. However, a quick check of some of the parts shown in the illustrations show that the text section agrees that they were used across those years and trucks.
