Radiator For 50 F-1

I put a 352 big block in my 50 F-1. I'm having a hard time finding a radiator that has the right size inlet and outlet. I need a 1 3/4" inlet and 2" outlet. Every one that will bolt up to the stock mount are 1 1/2" inlet and 1 3/4" outlet. Does anyone know someplace that sells what I need? I'd like to go with an aluminum one.

Gary,
Check out U. S. Radiator, here:

Ford - Radiators

These are their Ford truck radiators. If they don't list what you need here. Find one of their dealers near you and go talk to them.

I looked at U.S. radiator and all the ones that will bolt in are the small in and out. I know there has to be more of us that put fords back in fords not all of us put chevys in them.

I put a 302 in my 51 and I used a radiator out of a 79 dodge pick that had a v8 in it and it works great and I only paid $35 for it

Would your 352 stock radiator fit if you fabricated a custom mount?

You can also use radiator hose reducer bushings. You can get them at NAPA;

Napa carries rubber hose reducer bushings. Here are the P/N's;

NBH-900 from hose 1.5 to 1.25
NBH-901 from hose 1.75 to 1.5
NBH-902 from hose 2.0 to 1.75
NBH-903 from hose 2.25 to 2.0
NBH-904 from hose 2.5 to 2.25
NBH-905 from hose 3.0 to 2.5

Gates also makes them. If you can find a decent parts guy behind a counter they might be able to locate them.

I also used a mid 70's Dodge big block truck radiator in my 49. I'm running a 500ci Caddy.

I could make mounts but I wanted to use the oem if I could. And I really like the looks of an aluminum radiator.

I second Superior Radiator. They made my custom aluminum radiator and were reasonably priced and do quality work.
