New owner in Madison - a few questions
Hi all,
I'm a new Ford owner as of last week -- picked up an '06 F-150. I'm a DIYer, but worked mostly on smaller imports in the past. Looking forward to getting my hands dirty, but at the moment am totally swamped. The truck is in good condition but needs some work on the front (dealer recommended both front hub/bearing assemblies & 4wd actuators be replaced). So, my first two questions...
1) Looking for a place to buy Ford parts online for less than they charge at the dealer.. did this a lot with my older cars, usually ordering online from a dealership in another state and saved a lot of money.
2) Also looking for someone in the area that is looking for some side job mechanic work. Anyone interested in doing the job I described? I'm on the east side of Madison.
