2012 F150 3.7

Hey everyone, 3 weeks ago I just bought a 2012 Ford F-150 4x4 with the 3.7 V6. I've been hearing about a lot of problems with the early 5.0 V8's and 3.5 Ecoboost engines, and was wondering if there were any common problems or issues with the 3.7 I should be aware of? I'm also wondering if there are any issues I should be concerned about/aware of with the 6R80 transmission? I bought this to replace a 2006 F-150 with the 4.2/5-speed that I'd had for over 10 years. Obviously it's been a while since I've had an automatic. So far the truck seems pretty good, other than needing a new wiper switch assembly today. It only has 29,000 miles on it so I'm still under the 6/60 Powertrain warranty. The little V6 does a really great job of moving this big truck around, and once it gets into its power curve, can be a real jackrabbit! The transmission can be a little shift happy around town, but on the highway I feel like it hesitates a little longer than I'd like before downshifting. But then I'm used to a manual where I told the truck what gear to be in, and when. I've only had it 3 weeks and I need to get used to it. But I want to know what is normal and what is not normal for this engine/transmission?

Congrates on the truck!!!

I've got a 2012 XLT Supercab 3.7 2wd with 3.73 gears. I've got 96,000KM (60,000 Miles) and l haven't had any issues whatsoever. Nada. The tranny does shift a bit weird sometimes, but not a big enough deal for me to worry about. The engine gives me all the power l need for what l use the truck for.
If the tranny bothers you, then take it in and have them take a look at it. Piece of mind goes a long way.

Thanks, I appreciate the positive report about the 3.7. It does seem to be a pretty strong little motor. I'm impressed! My biggest concern is will it last a long time? I don't need my truck to be very heavy-duty, I just want it to be durable. So far I haven't heard anything negative at all about these 3.7's so I'm encouraged.
As for the transmission, I think the more I get used to it, the more normal it feels. When I take it in for its first oil change, I'll also have them look at the trans fluid, since Ford was nice enough to take away the stupid dipstick! (????) Anyway, the biggest thing is I'm kind of reluctant about all this modern technology, and I always did prefer a manual anyhow. There's a lot here that I need to get used to. This time around, my wife told me that whatever I bought had to be an automatic so she could drive it when necessary. And since Ford was kind enough to take away my option of a manual, that made decision even easier.
