Greetings, I picked up a 1950 F1 pickup that has been taken apart. There was, among other missing parts, no accelerator lever that bolts onto the firewall. I did acquire one off of ebay but the bolts on the arm are too short to reach the firewall. Is there some sort of screw fitting that would be used to attach this part.

Assuming you have a V8, this is what the main piece of the linkage. Is that what you bought?
Arrghhh!!! Got it. The nuts ubolt and then mount to the firewall. The unit I have is pretty rusted and not the one that I posted a picture of. That one's one that I snatched off the internet. Thanks!
