Can't find hose for canister pressure valve?

Can't find hose for canister pressure valve?
Please help. I can't find canister pressure valve hose. It looks cut from the pressure valve in some way. Tried following it from gas tank but I've lost it through the chassis. Very confused anything helps. Thanks

To my understanding ur talk in about the purge valve. I'm talking about the canister pressure valve near the power steering fluid under the hood there is a black cylinder with this

Attached to it. and from what I understand there is hose that goes all the way to the gas tank I can't find that hose I have reason to believe its been cut

Ford says there is no hose, that the cut hose around the nozzle is for protection of the opening..possibly. Doesn't make much sense if you ask me why an output for filtered fumes would need a protective hose chunk around the opening??? Anybody? Anyone?
