My Name is Marc and I am new to this forum. I have been a Ford guy for many years mostly Mustangs. I have just acquired a 1946 Ford pickup, which I purchased in early November. However, as of today I have not seen it, as I have been on the road for the last 7 weeks. I have a few pictures of the truck taken when it was delivered to my garage. I was aware of the truck for over two years and had tried to buy it several times but the gentleman who had it was not interested in selling it. His name is Leo; he worked restoring it for 12 years and never drove it. It is 95% restored and only requires a few parts in order to complete the restoration. Unfortunately, Leo passed away in late October. I was able to able to purchase it from his estate. The fact that Leo spent so much time working on it and never having the opportunity to drive it is sad. I will complete the rest of the work required and will name the pickup Leo in his memory, with his name on the front of the glove box.
All the best in the new year
