Daughter was driving the PSD the other day and ha a problem. Death wobble and then "something fell off the truck and I had no brakes"
Yay, says I. Apparently I need to do some work on the tie-rods....
Anyway, the parts that fell off were the brake pads. Those little tabs that hold the caliper in had slowly worked their way out and the caliper slid off.
Got the parts, fixed her up and decided to go after that one bad injector that was miss-firing for the last while. Las time the armature bolt broke off in the poppet valve. Had to send it away for repair. This time???? Just loose!! Tightened the bolt and re-installed. Running like a top again. Woooo!!
Just a Ford truck update from Westman.
Morris, that's exactly right. But, she's a resourceful and talented girl. She was nearly home and just resolved to drive the rest of the way using the manual tranny, some forethought and less go-pedal
Thanks Morris. She's a pretty awesome kid. My oldest two keep arguing over who gets the truck when I kick the bucket. I keep reminding them that I'm not dead yet. 😳
