Hey everyone, I am looking for a 51-52 F-7 or F-8 with dual tandem axles. I have noticed that several of y'all have them and they look amazing. I would also consider a F-5 or F-6 just depends on what's out there. Thanks in advance for the help everyone
That's awesome, I called and she said someone is coming to look at it today so it will probably be gone. This is exactly what I would like to have, it's about 800 miles from here is the only killer

You might check back with them later this afternoon. The potential buyer may not have the same appreciation you do. Tandem axle trucks are not common, so to find one that nice would be worth the effort to get. If it's still available after the showing, go take a look for yourself.
Here's one that is/was listed in the FTE classified section. Was originally a tandem, probably could be put back as original. I pulled this using Google because the FTE search function is a joke. Stu
Ford didn't make factory tandems until 1954. Before that tandems were made at after market truck refitters. So there may not be a lot of tandems in that year. But good luck and welcome to FTE.
Well, thanks to Stu I have hopefully bought me a truck. Now where is a good place to get parts? I have purchased several parts for me 51 F1 from various places so will the parts for an F1 fit a F7?
Glad it came together for you. Some parts are available at Napa or others of the better local stores. The best source, however, is Chuck Mantiglia of Chuck's Trucks. He has his own F-7 and F-8, and can help with technical issues in addition to ensuring that you get the right parts. Stu
I couldn't have done it without you, I am going to finish my F1 then start on this one. I would to upgrade the motor and maybe power steering and add a grain box and use it on the farm.
