5.8ho electronic engine control?

so my 86 f150 with a 5.8ho needs a tune up so i went to price everything and was asked if it has electronic engine control.......do i have it if its a carbed engine?

Carbed engines can have computer control. In your case though, I believe the HO's were not. A sure sign you have computer control is a distributor that does not have a vacuum advance can on it with a vacuum line going to it.

Dave is right. The HO's had no EEC and a DS-II ignition with a Holley 4180 carb.

awesome thanks guys. im new to this whole carb thing with no computer haha. im too use to fuel injection
