So last year i bought my Ranger from someone who let it set for 1-2 years. when i bought it i had to put in a new slave cylinder and clutch pedal assembly. now it has trouble starting sometimes and can be going down the road and it will shut off. I'm changing the fuel filter and air filter in it and doing an oil change i went ahead and got a pcv valve but I'm having trouble locating the old one to replace it . can anyone help me please and thank you... Help!!!!!
look at the vin and then the book, it will decode everything. You can also write the vin down and look at ford motor company website and they will decode. you do have a owners manual right? If nothing else take a pic and post here maybe someone can decide from the picture?
VIN is the metal strip on driver side dash and also on the data decal on driver side door.
no I don't have an owners manual it didn't have one when i bought it and i just haven't got around to getting one from a dealership. thank you for the help
