1994 F150 vs 2004 F150
Evening All,
Long time Ford truck person.
Looking at two trucks and would like ya'lls opinion...
2004 F150 Heritage 4wd regular cab, 4.2L, 5 spd manual transmission 114k...some body rust and dings...well used interior, been sitting since May 2014.
1992 F150 4wd extended cab 5.0 Auto 202k...lotso body rust, very dirty...been sitting since 2011.
Have to the option to purchase one of these trucks...they are both approximately the same price. I have had a 92 5.0 and am well aware of their problems, but have never had an 4.2L...
Suggestions, things to look for, any input to help me make up my mind would be greatly appreciated!

Are you really asking us to help you decide between a 10 year old truck and a 22 year old with lots of rust? And they are in the same price range with the meet one being half the miles?

I am Dano...thanks for the input!
Just not sure about the 4.2L V6 motor...know nothing about them except for the negative that I have read (there is some positive). It would be nothing more than a work/hunting truck.
The 2004 has had the rear replaced (worked on) and a tune up...
They are $100 apart in pricing...
