When I'm speeding up or slowing down, right at about 37mph every time my front end starts bouncing and it's annoying. It's by no means severe, I just don't like it. I don't think it's as bad as what a lot of you are experiencing with the death wobble? Maybe it's just starting and will get worse? Any of you experiencing this? Ideas to fix it?
Also, I'm experiencing a clicking noise almost as if something is loose under the front end when I hit bumps in the road or off road.. Not sure what that could be
Sounds like the shocks could be bad or possible something going bad in the front end. I'd either take it in or I'd personally do an inspection myself. Pull the shocks to start if a visual doesn't reveal anything obvious. A lot of the stock shocks we have found to fail very quickly with absolutely no rebound at all. Most guys are installing Rancho 9000 or Bilstein 5100.
Sounds like your shocks may be dead. The clicking noise you hear over bumps could very well be the lower shock bushing being worn out. I had a similar ordeal with my 2006. I replaced the shocks on the 2011 long before it became an issue!
I hope you don't leave your hubs locked in. I know of one 2011 that was run with locked hubs all the time because the guy didn't trust the auto lock (not sure why - I'm on my second Super Duty with it and 0 issues). He blew the transfer case after the front end shaft and other parts started to let go. $6,000 later for a reman. repair (not new) he learned his lesson.
Rotate the tires. I use the recommended procedure in the tire manual, fronts straight back, rears cross to the front. See if issue remains. Prob just a wheel balance issue since it's speed related.
