Topper/camper shell-how new will fit?
I'm looking for a topper for my 76 F250 lwb. What year did they change the bed size(in other words-how new can I go and still have a topper that will fit) I know Dodge till 93 is same, but how about Ford and Gm beds?

Mine is a Ford topper.
To know the difference quickly, on a Ford top there is a Plastic compass emblem just behind the cab on both side of the topper.
There are many manufacturers that will fit these trucks.

Dodge GM and 72 and older Ford cabs are straight up and down. 73-96 are on an angle. so you need one for 73-96. orig ones are hard to find in good shape. but they do make some really nice aftermarket ones. plus you can get parts for them easier. i'd go with a newer one if i was looking. but my truck came with the orig one. the guy i got the truck from did alot of work to the one i have on.
