Wouldn't make a good slammed bagged hot rod. Still not a bad deal for what it is. I agree it was a 1 1/2 ton with single rear wheels. Too bad about the rear fenders. I'll hold out for a 40-47 version. Thanks for sharing.

There was a '41 single rear panel on Phoenix Craig's List last May. mabryusmc had a post about it. Don't know if it is still on the market or not. Had an 8ba in it if memory serves me correctly.

I'm hoping one doesn't show up too soon My 2 ton has a ways to go and I already have it's 1/2 ton little brother in the lower shed for next winter's project. For me the ultimate would be a 46-47 one ton panel. Then I'd have the trifecta with 3 different body styles, and three different hauling tonnage. Of course the '37 panel in this post would be a great brother to my '37 stakebed......ain't gonna happen, ain't gonna happen.

I'll be going right by there sometime this week to visit my son at San Diego State (read take him to lunch and give him money for summer session tuition). I'll be happy to take a look at the panel and close the deal for you!

LOL... I have 4 kids. First 3 are done with college and the last one who I had at 40 is still in. I do exactly the same thing. Lunch and then some money. It;s still sort of fun and my oldest recently gave us his '99 honda when he went out and bought a VW GTI. That honda is the newest vehicle we ever had except for a brief super duty that we sold when the building recession set in. Nice gift to the old man though. Thanks for the offer!

SStans... That is an amazing collection you have! Somehow you have managed to haul them all to your place with a chevy? JK, you can haul them with whatever you want as long as you keep them from the dreaded crusher. Great Job!

...Those trucks are safe and sound as long as they are in my yard. hopefully they will all make it back on the street or at least parts to help other survivors. And tomorrow I go check out another 46 Mercury. He says he's open to offers...
