Looking for parts for an unusual variant please.Its a 47 Express Pickup 1 ton that has 17" split rim wheels.Need 4 hubcaps and a pair of long running boards.Hubcaps are 12" outside diameter and about 10" inside where they fit the wheels.As truck has an 8' bed,the running boards are longer.Prefer original parts not repro,anyone help please.Been asked this evening to add 245/70.17 tires or even 265/70.17 tires,must be tubed type ???.

The wheels are pretty narrow for the modern 70 series tires, and yes, you need to use tubes. I saw a pair of nos tonner hubcaps last week when I was buying parts. My '38 tonner express had a V8 emblem on the caps, but after the inline six came out they were stamped with the name Ford on them. This guy has 4 ford type in decent shape and 2 ford type that are wrapped in tissue paper and are mint. He mentioned they were 'spendy', but I didn't ask because I didn't need them. Sorry for the delay. Too bad he doesn't have 4 mint ones, but they are stainless steel and very good, just a bit lumpy.
