Transmission question(s)
Yesterday I picked up an extra flathead and transmission (Hey, gotta have spare parts) from a guy who is parting out an F-5. When I went to pick it up, I found out the transmission has a brake handle. It seems to have the same shift pattern as the four speed in my F-1 (with reverse on the lower right). I'm wondering is this is basically the same tranny with a brake attached, or something different?
Also, it is missing a cover on the side. How hard is it to find this cover? (What would it even be called?)
