Popping noise in AWD and 4X4

Recent development in 1999 Expedition after putting new tires on, At about half throttle opening or larger during acceleration in AWD mode there is a popping under driver and in front left wheel. In 4x4 Hi mode popping is at all throttle openings. truck only has AWD/4X4H/4X4L drive modes, no 2X4.

Any ideas?

Did you do all 4 tires?

With 4x4 systems, to avoid damaging the drivetrain all 4 tires have to be a matched set, are they?

All tires the same, NEW. rotated tires no change, measured circumference and all are within @ .25 inches which is very close.

Since the tires are good, have the driveshaft u-joints ever been replaced, especially the front ones?
