the little notches in that piece of sheetmetal on the left side (first pic) are what you align the mark up to.
Should have a thin mark on there somewhere... but i think you're gunna have to do it the old fashoned way. Try spraying some degreaser on there and wiping it off, maybe you'll be able to find it.
