hile i have my trucks interior ripped apart to make wiring harnesses and such i decided to remove as much as possible and clean out under my carpets. i am still finding glass in nooks, crannies and underneath the carpet.
i figure while i have room i would like to add in some insulation, kill two birds with one stone. im looking for something that will give decent heat insulation for when i sleep in my truck (a little cushion wouldnt hurt but i usually have an air mattress), but also for a bit of noise/rattle control for my stereo system
i dont want anything fancy, laying something like dynamat across the interior surface of these trucks could bankrupt a millionaire
i read of some people using stuff from home depot but then others warned of potential tar smells and such on some products.
