With a whole load of assistance and supervision by Ford Guy Extraordinaire Bill "lorolr" Van Dyke, we fired up our 351W for the first time today!! It took us about 20 attempts during which she shot fire in every direction, sprayed fuel all over Bill, and tried to burn my eyebrows off, but finally turned over just as friends and family showed up to witness it all. And without further ado...for your viewing and listening pleasure (turn up your speakers)....
My son Christian is in the red shorts, Bill is in the hat adjusting the timing, and I'm in the blue t shirt...
Hey Tyler,
That's just awesome!!!! It sounds great! Good to see Bill
over there - that blowout when you sprayed the starter fluid in there
looked a little close! I was trying to read what your cab door says?
You get that running we'll have to figure out a Southwest Truckstock.
Thanks Ben! Man we are freakin stoked! Thank God Bill was there. Turned out I had the timing 180* out. I'm a regular genius with this stuff. I'm hoping things will start moving faster now. We'll see! Good to hear from you! T
Congrats! Sounds great. Makes you want to get your truck finished and driving...yesterday lol doesn't it? Great job. Wish my garage was that organized haha
That was fantastic. Congratulations, I know I was stoked when I got mine running for the first time. Funny, my timing was off 180* as well. It looks like you had a big starting party.
