Passenger safety belt dinging
Does anyone else seem to have the dinging when a passenger sits in the seat but doesn't buckle up? It must have a sensor in the seat to trigger the dinger to go off. 2013 f150 5.0 xlt thank you.

Yes it is activated by weight in the seat...which also activates the passenger airbag. I have placed a computer bag and a few things in the seat next to me before to see if activate the airbag...but it never caused the put your seatbelt on idiot dinging.
It catches my wife at times and she talks back to the truck like "Oh tattletale!"
