Would like pic of assembled front brake caliper... 2003 2WD

I have terrible short term memory. Maybe I have terrible long term memory too, as I can't train myself to do one side at a time on brakes.

Anyway, I've replaced the rotors, calipers and pads on the front of my 2003 2wd Expy and I may have goofed installing the outside spring, the one that clips into the caliper, not the zero drag spring on the inside pad. I'm not sure if it's supposed to ride on the caliper mount, or the tabs get pushed "out" (away from the hub "out") to keep the pad up against the caliper mount and the abutment shims as they're called in the hardware kit. As it is now, they're on the mount, and the outside pad wants to push away and ride on the outside. I just want to make sure. I haven't driven the truck yet, except around the block, where I have a terribly spongy pedal.
Does someone have a pic they can post of how this spring sits on their ride? Even a pic through the wheel of the top and bottom of the outside pad would probably work. Every pic I've found online so far just shows an exploded view.

Here is a PDF of the shop manual pages for the front brake. Hopefully you can see what you need to somewhere in the images.

Here's one from mine. Hopefully you can see what you need to see without me taking the wheel off .

You both are awesome, thanks!
I had the anchor spring assembled wrong, and didn't even know that one end had two tabs. After refit and test drive, I have a pedal again and the outer pad is staying in place. The way I had it was forcing the caliper away from the hub instead of pulling it towards it. I think the last owner had it wrong too, as I was able to pull the caliper out without removing that spring first.
I'm attaching a pic of what the final result is.
Alloro, would you mind posting the procedure for the rear, please?

Imageshack won't let me rotate it, but this is the driver's side...

Anyone have a good pic of how the zero-drag spring is installed in the front calipers?

Glad I was referredto this post, it helped!

IIRC, the short end goes into the clip attached to the inner pad and the long end into an indentation of the caliper. It really won't fit the other way either, as the coil of the spring will get hung up on the caliper.
