We didn't have any luck finding a cab around here in Texas. They were as bad or worse than ours and its pretty bad. I bit the bullet and tore into it. Good luck with your search.
The fenders are being reproduced, try Mid Fifty F-100 Parts - Home Call their toll free# and ask for one of their free catalogs, it has a wealth of information as well as every part made for the 53-56. A cab is going to be more problematic, especially since you are in the great white north, eh! Try looking for a 53-55 F 350 or 450 donor since the cab is the same and the big jobs are often in much better shape (higher off the salt and used commercially so were better cared for, kept in barns for the winter.) and are typically cheaper. If looking for a solid rust out free cab you'll need to concentrate on the SW US. Shipping will be fairly expensive, but likely still cheaper than paying to have a rust bucket repaied. If all else fails they do make a repop fiberglass 56 cab. A couple years ago one of the enthusiast magazines built a complete 56 F100 using 100% new aftermarket parts just to see if it could be done.
listen to the AXman. always good info. and if yer anywhere near ny I have a pair of used glass fenders that are in good shape for cheap. and, like ax sez I have a good lead on an f-250 (with a ford script bed) for reasonable dollars, I've seen it. send me a pm

Where about in Ontario do you live. I've seen many vehicles of all kinds on trailers coming from the western provinces that look very good. They didn't use the salt on the roads like Ontario did

If they used salt in the western provinces they would melt away and disappear! LOL!
I've got a `55 cab in pretty decent shape... smells like racoon ****, and the glass is toast, but it's got doors and a dash. I think I got a couple decent steel fender... not rot. I wont be doing a second build, so it's all spares. Transportation is sometimes more an obstacle than price... what hemisphere you in?
Depending on what part of Ontario he lives in it could be a few days to make a trip and double when you count your return. Texas is tiny compared to Ontario. But I live pretty much at the end of the road.

Sorry couldn't resist...
They started using salt here, about 1960 so about up till then, there is fairly good sheet metal about. Ater that they poured it on and car would last two and a half years.
